The people present at the program broke into a spontaneous applause on hearing Shankarbhai. Shankarbhai hails from Mandvi village of Radhanpur. VSSM provided interest free loans worth Rs. 5 lac to 35 economically weak individuals like Shankarbhai.
Our eyes moisten up with joy when such individuals tell us, “we will do well in our business and make you proud.
May you all do very well and of course save lots of money so the next time you are not required to borrow money from anyone…. Our nudge that all these individuals accepted!!
શંકરભાઈ બજાણિયા નામ બોલાયુને એક ભાઈ ઊભા થયા. તેમની બાજુ બેઠેલા એક ભાઈ પણ તેમની સાથે જ ઊભા થયા. ને તેમનો હાથ પકડી જાળવીને અમે ઊભા હતા ત્યાં લઈ આવ્યા. મે તેમને દસ હજારનો ચેક આપ્યો ને પુછ્યું, ‘તબીયત ઠીક નથી?’
‘ના બેન બરાબર છે.’
‘તો તમને ‘ટેકાની કેમ જરૃર પડી?’
‘હું સુરદાસ છુ બેન..’
ઓહ... તો તમે વગર વ્યાજના આ દસ હજાર લઈને શું કરવાના... ‘ માર કરિયોણાની નેની દુકાન હ ઈમાં વધુ સોમોન ભરાઈસ.’
રાધનપુર પાસેના માંડવીગામના શંકરભાઈની વાત સાંભળીને કાર્યક્રમમાં ઉપસ્થિત બધાએ તાળીઓ પાડી. આર્થિક રીતે પછાત શંકરભાઈ જેવા 35 પરિવારોને આજે સાડા પાંચ લાખ રૃપિયાની વગર વ્યાજની લોન આપવામાં આવી.
‘અમે સરસ ધંધો કરીશું ને તમારુ નામ ઊજાળશું’ એવું જ્યારે #વિચરતીજાતિના પરિવારોએ કહ્યું ત્યારે રાજી થવાયું... ખુબ તરક્કી કરો ને હા બચત કરજો એય સારી એવી તોજ બીજી વાર લોન આપીશું તેવી મીઠી ધમકી પણ આપી ને બધાએ એ માન્ય પણ રાખી...
